Warmer weather, rainstorms, daylight savings time change, and ultrahyper students remind me that Spring is just around the corner. Spring is the second best time to live in Tuscaloosa (Guess what is the best time?) because of all the exciting events going on around town. If you missed the Asses of Fire Chili Cookoff last weekend, don't fret. Here are just a few upcoming events to look forward to:
Suds of the South Beerfest
....AND!
Druid City Arts Festival
March 27 - "The Druid City Arts Festival aims to highlight artists within Tuscaloosa and the surrounding area through a large, interactive community event. The festival seeks to encourage community members to embrace diversity within Tuscaloosa by finding the common bonds that inherently exist within the enjoyment of the arts. While focusing on music, the festival will also encompass other art forms ranging from theater to visual arts." Click HERE for more info.
2nd Annual Black Warrior Storytelling Festival
March 28th - One of the most favorite things I did last year. Bring a blanket, and listen to some great stories. I am SO looking forward to it. Click HERE for more info.
Walk for Autism 2010
Get your lazy butt out of bed and join my lazy butt in a 2 mile walk for a good cause. You can also enjoy face painting, a bubble creation station, a bouncy house, and carnival style games (if the kids will let you cut in line). While you're at it, join TEAM MILO!
April 17 - Click HERE for more info.
Blue Angels Air Show
I officially messed up last year when I didn't see the Blue Angel Air Show in town. I'm not making the same mistake twice!
May 8-9 - Click HERE for more info.
Sunrise Community Hot Air Balloon Race
Would you believe I've never seen a hot air balloon in real life?! Inconceivable.
May 22 - Click HERE for more info.

Sweet! I hope I am not so busy that I miss the majority of these.
